beleive it or not but as far as welding is concerened theres a wee bit next to the filler neck on the inner arch, front battery tray, front corners, rear outer arches. inners are solid :D

dont think she was over at Gordon's when you were up.

just realised I've not updated this in a while.. well TBH I've not touched the shell. I've bought a new welder as mines died and I've bought a few choice bits..
I got the spax adjustable front shocks and spax springs all round from Dezzy , griffin motor sport 6 branch from Scott, speedtouch mild chip in an ecu from shedrool, braided hoses from eBay, and some polly bushes from eko, adjustable front arb from topblag plus other odds and ends..
so I've been spending money but not actually spending time on the car  as normal I've been doing other bits on other folks cars..
but over the next few weeks the welding will be getting done then its time to rebuild hopefully.

Good work, how rusty must your other car of been for you to fix this one?...

Sounds like you are collecting lots of bits ready for the build....

just gotta keep motivated, I will be watching the progress

ive had a few shells and TBH this is the best one out of a bad lot. but then I know of a few tech2 sports that have had more welding than this is needing.. my first car which when I bought it looked mint turned into a rot box. it required rear inner arches, front corners, inner and outer passengers side A pillar as this had been fillered at some point.. to me the worst bit on this one is the front battery tray.
half of me is dreading the rebuild as its down that far but the other half of me is looking forward to it.

I've got a black one in the drive that I was going to be using as it required a lot less welding but its now been sat on a jig and less said the better.. but ill use that as spares for when it comes to rebuilding this one.

so I've now cut back to good metal on the passengers side.
