Hope someone can help me with this.
I bought an M Tech1 steering wheel to fit to my G reg Touring only to find out the hole's too small and it wont fit.
Can anyone tell me why this is,and whether the M Tech2 wheel would fit my car.
I thought all the fitments were the same and bought it to replace my crusty standard wheel.
Thanks :x :x

M tech 2 wheel fits, as does a M tech 1 wheel.
What you have bought is not an E30 M tech 1 wheel!

I can confirm that both wheels should fit fine.

There are two fittings, often referred to as coarse and fine spline. The coarse one fits E28s up to about 84 (I think) and the fine one fits later E28s and all E30s. If you want to get it shifted on, try putting an ad up on mye28.com. There's usually someone there looking for one..
