Have had a few rev wavers 2-3k recently. Drove from parked to the petrol station today and after I filled her up started and she died then wouldn't start.

Just off to try fuse number 11, but otherwise will open up the carpet saturday morning and check for power to the pump.

If the plugs are dry I guess that's also a sign? Anything else I can check?

Cheers!

First thing to do: bridge pins 30 & 87 of the fuel pump relay socket to see if the fuel pump runs.

Well, if helps with anything, fuse 11 is good. There's no continuity between 30 and 87 with the ignition on.

There's good voltage between 85 & 86. Do I need to check power at the fuel pump?

So if I don't hear anything its not the relay and check the pump?

If you do that and the pump doesn't run it's fecked. If you can't hear it then you can remove the fuel supply hose from the fuel rail and you will be left in know doubt as to whether the pump is working or not.

The way it died was definitely a loss of fuel pressure. So either the relay or the pump or the connection to the pump is fooked. Can't do anything till saturday now...

Cheers anyway - on the plus-side if she runs better after this I'll be a happy man :D
