Hi All

Just ripped out the power hood and frame from my e30 1992, and about to install the manual frame and hood. I notice the mechanism for opening the latches that keeps the hood down are different !!

Anyone got some advice on how to work round this, I've attached some photies of what I have currently....diagrams would be good if anyone has some

I've owned both - I don't think you can 'rig something up' - you'll either have to get the extra manual bits new or 2nd-hand.

There was a thread (though it may have been on another site) which described exactly what to do...

go searching!

Hi all

Just found out that I need buy a whole new mechanism DOH..and one of the parts isnt cheap (latch)
I've attached a piture and link if it doesnt work.Any pictures of someone elses setup would be good too Ta
