just seen this on the autosprint website & as i'm looking at turning my old tech one (when i finally get it back  ) into a track/road car (cage, bucket seats, the works if pos).

so i was wondering is dynamic engine balancing worth doing?

anybody got any ideas?

Yes mate it is worth it.... reciprocating mass and rotating mass are all equal = better spread of load and less ware... The engine is also alot smoother... I found when doing mine that the crank was way off... but when I bolted the flywheel to it it brought it back a little...

The last engine I had modded had the works done in terms of blue-printing and balancing. If you can budget for it, do it. Very worthwhile.
