Midlands Convoy to Santa Pod 2010

Well seeing as the 'Notherners' have got a convoy set-up, thought it'd be a good idea to get one sorted for the 'Midlands' too

Idea i have in mind is to link up at the 'Motorcycle Museum' in Birmingham (postcode B92 0EJ) and then head onto the M1 and possibly join the 'Northerners' and convoy down all together Will be joining the M1 at J19.

Not sure as to meet up times,but will be about 7am to get to the gates at about 8-8.30am.

Whats the plan for this midlands convoy then?

I'm looking at google routes and its saying it will take me an hour and 16 minutes to get there... But I join the M1junction 20 and come off at 19...

Where abouts are people coming from and what direction in they going?

I dont mind making a few 15 minute stops on the way to wait for others if there is enough people but if we are talking a few of us then its a bit pointless. Which way are the Northern lot coming down??? Will you be traveling down the m1? If they are, what about stopping at Junction 21 Service station for a 15-20 minute break while a few midlanders join up with you?

I'm guessing its gonna be a pass by for most people and anyone in Leicester can jump on northbound and just swing round at 21a... Takes a couple of minutes...

Any suggestions? Any names? I would like to be getting there between 7am-8am so I see the whole day etc... Which im guessing most people will want that anyway.
