The wheels I currently have on my car are 195/65/14's & i'm planning to replace them with some 15" BBS with 205/55 tyres. Will there be much difference in the height of the wheels?
I only ask because my car has been lowered & I'm not sure how much. Tere is currently not much room between tyres & arches, so don't want them to be rubbing.
Would appreciate any comments.

195/65/14 - 609mm diameter
205/55/15 - 607mm diameter
Theres hardly any difference so go for it. The 205/55s are a little smaller although the amount changes depending on the tyre size calculator used.
BTW, heres a couple handy links for you...

The 205/55/15 and 195/65/14 are pretty much the same outside diameter, only the width may cause rubbing problems.

Thanks a lot guys! You've taken a great weight off my mind!!
Thought it would be ok, but concerned that with people in the back, tyres would rub. Guess it won't be any different from whats already there though.
Cheers

You'll notice a considerably harsher ride and a slight decrease in performance, (especially in the wet), due to increased power absorbion by the wider tyre.

What tyre size would you recommend then?
