m50 engine loom question

Just going through my engine loom on my m50 using willnz wiring layout stickie, on the m50 side pin10 has a brown cable with a black tracer, his diagram shows no cable there, do i cut it out or does it have a use?

The motor and loom came from a 95 525 manual tourer.

Me again, still wiring on your diagram you show for the engine check light on the e30 a grey wire on pin 12, i have nothing in pin 12, the e30 is a 91 325 manual cab. cheers

Doh! what a dumbass, going through the list willnz put up i've noticed i've got a couple different colors to his and the gauge of wire is not the same either, should i still wire it to the pin numbers and disregard the colours?

Cheers will your a life saver, i've got a manual but it lists the colours you have put up. May be i'm just being dense.

Ok got the pin and colours from the e30 side -

1 - Blue
2 - Blue/Black
3 - Nothing
4 - Brown/Purple
5 - Black/Brown
6 - Green/Yellow\
7 - Green
8 - Yellow/White
9 - Black
10-Purple/Green
11-White/Blue
12-Nothing
13-Purple/red large gauge cable
14-Blue/Yellow
15-Black/Green
16-Nothing
17-Nothing
18-Black/Yellow Large gauge cable
19-Nothing
20-Red/yellow

I'll get the E34 colours to you as soon as i can

Got another question, should i use the alternator cables from my e30 or use the m50 engine loom ones? i'm installing the battery in the boot if this makes any odds,
