can anyone tell me if the glass from an older e30 say a 1986 will fit in a 1990 model, the car is an 3 door. i know they used to have a different trim on the pop out back windows just wondering if they will fit thats all.

Don't know too much about pre facelift stuff, but AFAIK the glass is the same shape, but a different colour. Brown tint instead of green.

well, i tried to fit a late model rear (4door) glass to my early car. Not only is it a different colour (green rather than bronze) but the fixings are also different. Has one central fixing rather than two on each side.
