The e30zone at the BMW show Gaydon 15th Aug.
Link for the webiste is:

We have 20 spaces (provisionally) and hope to fill these this year. ALL zoners are welcome, whatever car you have. We just ask the cars are all clean and road legal!
Marshalls for the event will be myself and I will possibly need 1 other.
I am in contact with the BMWCC to get tickets. I'll be booking tickets so please add names to the bottom of the list.
Payment for the show is £8.00 and will be paid in full before the tickets are booked. We will call for payments (preferably through paypal) as and when the BMWCC ask for them, about a month prior to the show. NO payment up front = no ticket. Sorry to be harsh on this, but needs must as space is limited.
Essexgirlracer (thanks) has provisionally booked 10 camping pitches at Anita's caravan and touring park in Mollington, we stayed there last year with some other BMW clubs and randoms......... the site is clean and comfortable with good shower blocks..........and approx 15 mins away from Gaydon. Price per pitch from £11.50

There was a blue Clio. It was parked behind me x x

Do we need to arrive proper early to get in to the zone section? Because if it's a reasonable hour, I'd be up for showing off the brown 'un.

I may be a little thick but looking at the site does it mean we can buy tickets to run the test track in our cars??

Remember the cars you see in mags have usually been heavily photoshopped.............

Yes, but by all accounts (haven't bothered myself), it's a bit of a let down.charlE30 wrote:

Yeah you can buy track time and it's not too bad. I've been round the past two years but not in my own car. First year was in a btcc car with matt Jackson the touring car.........and the second was in a thorley motorsport csl ccup car.......... Was a laugh. Your better off waiting till the end of the day to be honest as the sell the track slots half price... X x

Cars dont have to be mint, mines far from it, but she cleans up well on the daycharlE30 wrote:Quite tempted to get myself along to this with my "red shed" it's quite literally only down the road from me![]()

Right I have just spoken to the campsite again today and I have to weeks to let them know final numbers for camping so if you want to camp with us can you let us know ASAP please. This is a brief bit about the site "Description Set on the edge of lovely Mollington Village just walking distance to our own village pub. We have large pitches, all electric with newly built toilet block facility.
We also have self-catering accommodation available. Top quality as the by-word. Close to Stratford-on-Avon, Oxford, Warwick, Cotswolds and many National Trust properties. Cycling, walking or just a lazy time, you will be made very welcome." and reviews"Reviewer: Russrf (1) Date of Visit: June 2010 Unit: Touring Caravan
Could not recommend this site any higher. The facilities are A+ and anyone associated with the site is very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and tidy and the pitches well spaced with access to water, showers etc.
Lots to do in the area and a Tesco superstore is located just down the road.
Myself and my brother were there for fishing and again the area has 3 really top class fishing venues nearby.

Arrived Monday and was put on a large pitch overlooking the top field, this was the space for 3 caravans so our 32 foot American Motor-home fit easily.
The site was clean and tidy and the owners very friendly. The shower block was lovely and clean and hot water available all day.
Jack the grounds man was especially helpful and made us feel very welcome and spoke to us every day throughout our stay.
Rates reasonable and the site had easy access to all local attractions. Will definitely be visiting again.

Stopped over for one night on the way to kitcar show near Kenilworth. Kindly managed to fit us in at short notice on a busy bank holiday weekend.
Nice quiet site next to the owners working farm with very clean facilities. Plenty of piping hot water for showers & washing up.
Warm welcome and very helpful, even offered to order an indian take away for us as we were only staying the 1 night & I was very tired.
Agree with previous reviewer that the signs directing you to caravan / tent pitches and reception could clearer.

Situated just 5 miles from Banbury near the village of Mollington, The site is spacious, neat and tidy. A very friendly welcome was given to us to on our arival. Our pitch was all ready marked up with our name on pitch is of shingle stone with grass to side. Hedges which are kept tidy are separating caravans and tent pitches. The toilets and showers were very clean and during our visit did not have to queue.
There are two washing up sinks with plenty of hot water.
The only downside is the slight slope for caravans and the signing for new arrivals. A shop or small club might make this a better site but then some would say no. There is a Tesco just outside Banbury so not so bad.
A very enjoyable and relaxed stay, already planning our next visit.

We stayed here for three nights. What a wonderful site it is. We were met by a friendly gent who allocated us our pitch which was pleasantly situated and of a good size.
The facilities are clean and spotless, although I think that it could get very busy when the site is full as there is only one facilities block.
The dog walk is an area fenced off but is well kept.
There is a nice garden centre just down the road from the site and the Bygone Museum is a must which has a great tea room with lovely cream teas. We are looking forward to going back x x"
so come on people it'll be a laugh x x
