Hi There,

Since i'm not able to find the electr. schema:
How can i disconnect (or disable) the injectors of my 318i E30 ?
Presumably it is just pulling a relay or anything else.

Maybe any other tips how to prevent backfire, or anything ?

Thanks ! Pietro :D

Most LPG controllers have two yellow wires to disable the petrol system.
You use these to cut off the common 12V+ feed to the injectors
On a M20 this is a red/whie wire from the main engine relay (on the bulkhead on a M40) to the injectors. I expect it is similar on the M40, but don't have a wiring diagram to hand at the moment.
Be carefull not to cut off the supply to the idle control valve as well.
To avoid backfires, don't run the LPG tank absolutely dry, and always change from petrol to gas wiyh your foot off the accelerator.
Fit a "bladesaver" catflap type backfire arrestor and pressure release devise to the output stub of the air mass meter, and relocate the air meter / air filter forwards abour 25mm.

Just to add that my M30's positive injector wire is also red with a white stripe so it could be the same on your car as Brian said.
