Hi I am new and would like some advice. I would like to buy an E30 M3. I would preferably like an M3 cabriolet. If not a cabriolet then an M3. Nothing else will do. I do not want an inferior Motorsport Cabriolet with an ///M badge on it. It is just like any other E30 convertible they has been pimped up.
I note that there are M3 Evos and Cecottos. Cansomeone please explain to me the different M3's please.
I tjank you for yur time in answering wisely to this question.

hello mate
i dont know much about m3s but i can assure you they are all awesome cars
the best ones are the sport evos that were made near the end, they were 2.5 and 235hp i think and they are awesome.
i think u r bein a bit harsh on the motorsport cabs, they are highly in demand and often worth more than m3s

M3 cabs......mmmm........dont really see the point of these.
Cabs are better as 325i's in my opinion.
NOrmal M3's much better.

mostly engine data and weight etc here
http://www.m3bmw.com/specs.html
heres another one a little more comprehensive
http://www.s14.net/specplus/comparisons.html
there were several other differences along side engine specs
this link tells you about interiors body panels etc
http://www.m3-motorsport.demon.co.uk/m3hist.htm]
hope this helps
