Hi guys

Ive got a horrible droning noise inside the car when im driving. It doesnt happen at low speeds, but over about 20mph its awful. I tought it was a wheel bearing but im not so sure coz the droning doesnt get worse with speed???

If any of you guys know what it is then drop me a line

Cheerz dudez.......

Are you sure it isnt the passenger (wife / GF) ??

could be the exhaust, could be the wheel bearing.

My car now has a horrible droning noise, except it is all the time. Its the fuel pump in the tank. I managed to whack a great big dent in the bottom of the tank and it now drones!

So it may be that, but thats pretty obvious because the noise comes from under the back seat

That was my first thought :D

Do you have mud flaps, one of mine has just come loose and if it rubbed on the tyre could cause a droning effect

Depends on the condition of the exhaust and mounts. My old TVR used to have a resonance at 75mph that was almost unbearable
