Hi, Im just wondering what mounts people are using with there m50 conversions?

The engine is out of a e36 325 and is going into a e30 318.

I have heard of people using e34 m5 mounts, e28 mounts etc i just want to know the exact ones a need.

Pictures would be fantastic.

Cheers George

you need the 328 exhaust manifold and some downpipes. These come down as 2 pipes, it would be best to run a 2 pipe system all the way through.

A cut n shut E30 325 system is OK to use, or get hold of a second hand stainless system for a 325 or M3.

the 318 system you have will just be single 2" pipe all the way through and will restrict the hell out of it.

I have a standard 325 system for not much money, but I'm in york and I ain't messing about posting it I'm afraid.
