I am thinking of buying some e46 conv, leather, heated seats!
They look v nice...
Now I have setup standard e46 electric seats b4 and got them working nicely, but never done any with heated bits on!!!
What will I need to do electronically to get the seat elements heating up? will there be a module in the donor to control it? or is it a case of finding 2, 2 stage switches to supply different volts/amps to element etc???
All help appreciated!!!!
E46 heated seat help!!!!

when I wired up my e46 seats(from a convertible) I used the original plug from the loom and earthed all I could from one live and most seemed to work on it but there must be a separate input for the heating elements so you should need a second live for the seats...why not use an e30 heated seat switch

if you can find one
love the seats and I am glad I fitted them
