is the group buy for these exausts a yearly thing or was it a one off chance. Only after getting a quote of £1107.16 + VAT for a manifold with a 6 week lead time. Was expecting in round £600 -650.

Apparently the guys at BTB have recently developed a cocaine and prostitute addiction, hence the pricing increase..

I NEVER thought the Mrs would say I got a bargain spending £600 on an exaust manifold!

They are however, still the only people that make a manifold to clear quick racks.

Even Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a pointy hat and a mask.
I might not know a fraction of the e30 related knowledge that a lot of the members here know but 1100+vat for a manifold??
I don't care how good the product is, that's daylight robbery.

Does that mean that everyone that bought them has now got a second hand manifold worth more than a new one! Awesome. :D

Looks like they're getting on the same bandwagon as BMW with their E30 parts prices.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

If i had read this earlier in the week, i may not have fitted my 6branch and full system.
Would have stuck it in a Bank vault.

That is some price rise. 8O

Someone send one off to hottuning and get it copied makes a few quid for you and will make the manifold that will clear a quick rack more avaliable to people that dont have a spare £1000 for an exhaust manifold :D

The price of that minfold you could do an M50 conversion and get better value for money

Hi guys,

I actually bought the manifold from BTB around this time last year when E30zone done the group buy, but never got round to getting it fitted etc... i am currently selling my car if it is sold without the manifold i will be putting it up for sale, so keep an eye out for that as it is the BTB3 as someone put it not sure if thats the official name.
It will be first come first serve and still packed in the bubble wrapped box etc with original BTB exhausts with receipts etc.

Thanks

Its unlikely due to the E30 zone falling out with BTB Exhausts from what i have heard but i may be wrong.

If the manifold is going for about £1100 last time i checked how much will the group buy of say 10 can save £100 maybe £200.

Goodluck my one is still for sale if intrested.

BTB still have a few left at the price they were on the last group buy, about £600!

They have never been £1100 on a group buy.

I dont mean to sound like an arsehole but if you bought it in the group buy, why are you now selling it for £850? And with the "x-piece" which will only fit BTBs back system, which means more money spent at BTB?

I bought the BTB3 manifold from BTB about a week and a half ago for £620, including the x-piece for a genuine 3-piece system, and postage.

its a no brainer
