Evening

Am of the belief i need the front and rear shox changing on my 318i, anyone have any ideas (a) how much it would cost and (b) anyone in the sheffield area who you could recommend to do it?

Depends what you want to replace them with? ECP or GSF do replacement units and as Rav said Sweep is in Sheffield.

i have no idea what to replace them with as this is my first e30 and every other car ive had someone else has done the work on it!

any help appreciated, im not overly flush with cash.

not sure. only drive the car a couple of days a week, probably less than 6000 miles a year. dont want anything flashy, car doesnt have any mods on it and was going to stick to as original as possible.

was going to go to kwik fit and get a free suspension test but know they'll probably try to press gang me into spending a fortune.

is that any help?

Steer well clear of quickfit unless you want a proper buggering

send a PM to a member on here called Sweep, his name is Pete and he is in Sheffied and he knows his way around an E30 and will look after you.

go and see tony (he's the manager) at kwikfit on Leopold Street..just opposite Sytners...he has an e30 cabby and wont put you wrong...he's a good mate
