Not bad Dave - only just over 900 miles for me. Not going to work out the MPG though, although spitfire-speed probably helped to keep it reasonable.
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...
27.7 on the OBC, so probably 25 real MPG. I didn't get a reciept at one of the filling stations or else I would be able to say more accurately. Considering I made the 6PM boat, i think I did quite well on fuel!
The Spit made it back then?
Did you all come back together in convoy I assume?

my mate took a spit down there a few years back... made it moist of the way before a big end let go and was towed the last 20 miles my a nice chap in a TVR!
the breakdown company sorted him a poxhall zafira VXR turbonutterbastard and delivered the spit back home
