Hi All.... im back after 3 years with another E30 325i Sport. It's a 1988 car with 190'000 on the clock with full history. I noticed when driving that there is a very slight whine from the LSD... is there any way of putting this right, and is it going to damage it driving it ? it is not very noticeable but i want it put right really.

It is more likely to be the input shaft bearings tbh.

The oil you need is Castrol SJF-XJ

From 'Oilman' on here, http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-736-castrol ... icant.aspx

If an oil change doesn't do it then you need to talk to a user called Gareth, he re-furbs LSD's and can modify them too while they're apart.
