I need at least one.

Just had a quote for the e30 Samco hose kit which comes in at £100 + VAT!!!

Anybody know a cheaper alternative that is up to race spec?

For that price I'm not even sure it's the complete set.
If you want hoses made of anything but rubber they won't be cheap.

Thanks.

I take it I can buy lengths of tubing and cut them?

Does anyone know the dimensions od the hoses (thickness)?

Thanks

It's hard to get the hoses to bend but not "kink".

I have used OEM ones for several years now on my E30 race car with no problems (that includes racing during summer).

What is wrong with OEM?

As above, we run genuine BMW hoses and just keep an eye on them and check regualarly

Also make sure you have the relavant clips/cable ties on the front hose if running a viscous as the engine lunge is huge on track

This is true. I have had to tape a Coke can around a mates coolant hose to get him home after a track day once.
