personally i say stay well away from replica kits. just keep your eye out for a original tech 2. the fitting of replica's is a nightmare as they are shit quality

Don't do it !. Sell your car and buy an M3 .Why you may ask ? well the kit is Ԛ£1200 ish inc vat (i'm trying not to laugh !) it will cost 2 grand to fit it and paint the car , it will look sh*t and everyone will laugh at you!

One of the main reasons for not buying a proper M3 is i don't really want to take apart a classic, cause the car i want to do will be a stripped out 325 or the likes with a S50 M3 engine in it and M3 kit as i like the look of it. Also it will be RHD which is a bonus. I know two people that work in body shops and one owns his own so will get the kit fitted and sprayed very cheap (mates rates) this is not issue.
If done properly are these kits really that bad?
If they are then i may change my plan's and turbo charge my E36 instead, as im in two minds on what i want to do at the moment.
Any pics of cars with replica kits fitted?

If you really want an M3 lookalike buy genuine parts and fit them , at least it will look right when done . I have two front wings, two side skirts , two new unused doors and a rear bumper. The rear quarters will be aggro so maybe get some fibreglass ones and your mate can spend a week perfecting his bogging skills !
