Is it a zoners car by any chance or does anyone know if it has any previous?

I'm very interested in it but due to the location and me only just finding it now I'm not going to be able to view before the auction end.

What about getting a zoner nearer to view it for you? Chris Warburton is that way.

It's had 11 owners so it's been for sale a few times.

It's the first white M3 thats been for sale for a few months now, I hope it doesnt go over my budget!

Thanks mate, I've just tried to get a day off this week but I've been denied !

I've spoken with the owner and he's had the scuttle repaired recently, not replaced, but rust cut out and fresh metal welded in so I'm in two minds now as he's got no photos of the work...

hi mate

yes, this was for sale last year and he said couldnt bare to sell it. IIRC he is also a zoner

he lives around the corner from me (literally a 60 second walk) and it is kept in a locked garage for most of it's life, takes it out maybe 3 times a month on the weekend. i does look very nice, but as you say you can't tell from just pictures

hi mate, i live in hambleton if you know where that is - the M3 in question assuming it is the same one lives just on the main road running through hambleton. Unfortunately, my reg isnt E307 ONE - that was a photoshop to hide my actual reg lol however, look out BJW instead! Yes, a blackpool meet or similar would be very cool

Josh - if you could get a look at it for me that would be ace mate :D Dont worry if you cant though.
I really am in two minds now as I've asked about the relevant areas, if he has actually checked them, and all I get is "there is no rust". I really want the bulkhead inspected to put my mind at ease. The seller has disclosed me his reserve which is slightly over my current budget but I could stretch to it if its the right car.....

You have plenty of 'budget' Tom :)

Just bid it up to what you want to pay, if you turn up and find rust its his loss, not yours 8)

Exactly if its not as described walk away. He's already given you the golden ticket to walk by telling you its rust free.

Bid up to your happy number, if you win you win, no biggy if you then don't want it!

I understand that but its a hell of a trip from Bristol to him and on the basis the outer scuttle has had a repair its VERY likely its worse behind the scenes. I really want to know more before I make the trip and he doesnt really want to play ball by providing photos of specific areas I've asked for...

If it is snotty I wouldnt value the car at what he does and it would waste both mine and his time, but is does look very good in the photos :-x

Looks a nice car but good spot about the house, how long has it been complete or at least had it's roof on? The AcShnitzer badge needs to go though

Yes, I think so. I knew a white "F" reg. E30 M3 with a Schnitzer badge and a registration ending "SDL". The car I know also had black ACS 16" wheels (E36 fitment I think (I'm sure there were spacers fitted)), an Evo II chin spoiler and a fibreglass replica Sport Evo rear spoiler.

I knew the car about 8 or 9 years ago when I lived in Formby.

The owner of the car had a deal fall through against a Cosworth, as an HPi check revealed something. I think it was on the list.

Don't get me wrong, it was a lovely car back then, but it had definitely seen some action.

I think a lot of these cars have seen some sort of action at some point.

Do the text car check - you have the registration - it only costs £3.

Sorry - thought you said something came back on the HPI check? The text car check would clarify it.

He did. The car has 'form' , though it was 10 years ago or so.

£3 'text checks' don't access all data bases, thats why they are £3.
