The four parts that are listed on in the Tech Article as 'essential', are they only available from the dealers or do GSF or anyone else stock these parts (Gear Lever, Spacer Ring, Circlip, Bearing)?

It mentions in the article that there are other parts you can replace but it's more like an 8 hour job rather than a 30 minute job. With the engine out of the car does it make access any easier and therefore reduce the time of the job do you know?

Is there not an artical on here some where telling how to do this conversion. As it would help me out when i get around to doing it

Well sitting hear thinking about all these short shifts i have made my mind up. See i want to prep my car for drifting so there for i need a long'ish leaver and a short shift so i will be getting the Z3 1.9 leaver or the Z3M

Long lever + short shift = X3 3.0 lever... ask Demlot Crew.
