Hmmm not entirely sure what to do. Got MOT and TAx due in oct and I know there is a fair amount of work to be done, list as below.

Tie rod end
control arms (both of)
two tyres
1 bulb...
Rust.....
Think everything else is not to bad really.

My main issue is the rust, not sure if it will fail or not though, i'll explain.

I think the main concern is some on the drivers side in the engine bay. Its not on the wheel arch but the flat bit (with holes in it) close to the engine. I think its only paint coming off, but not sure how deep it is. I this a load bearing area? will it fail?

Its further than 30cm away from the strut mounting, is this the important distance?

As you will be aware, is poinless me doing thte control arms/ tie rods if there is too much rust.

I suspect a preMOT coming on....

sorry, not offering advice about the potential tin-worm problems, but with the stress forces of hard conrering starting to take their toll on teenage E30's does this make a good case for the strut brace?

nah all seam to be fine by the bulk head.

Its just bit that i described earlier, small bits on the front panal (the bit that holds the bonnet)

There is also holes behind the headlights on the inner wing so to speak, not near the main bits though.

A strut brace could make things worse, by stiffening it in another area, thus making the weeker area more suspectable to damage.

If its dead its dead,

If its dead its dead,
strut brace actually helps...... spreads load evenly
