Looking good as always Si, I think im going to have to splash out on some new AC pipes for the M3, they look so much better fresh but then doesnt everything.

thought abour having the steel only ones replated and cutting the rubber off the two that go to the compressor and having the ends done as they will be getting new rubber when theyre modified for S50 compressor fittings anyway.

You can get adaptors for the standard lines Matt, no need for custom pipes

I'm too far in now to go any other way than the route we're on. I'd certainly wouldn't do it again!

Mine will get put on the road and then new bits added as and when i can afford them with the exception of parts that will mean fully stripping the car again, eg seals on heater box and sound deadening on bulkhead/tunnel in engine bay etc.
The pina should look awesome Si, just dont add up the receipts. On a sidenote ive got the original bill of sale for the M3 which was £26k, bet you will be close, lol

Putting a fresh front end together is rad. Much rather spend money on things like this than other stuff like strut braces and black light ect etc.
When I did mine the parts prices and availability were okay but now they're getting annoying.

A few places have cropped up doing them recently - eg http://www.dealerplates.co.uk/Royalratch wrote:What are the details on these original spec plates?
I couldn't find any when I last needed plates so I've just got modern dealer plates, but the old font looks so much better. Just another thing to get round to for me, but for Si it's essential IMO!
