Right, when i start rebuilding my touring i am plannin on lowering the rear with some Eibach springs (-30mm i think)

I dont want low i just want it to sit nice and i'm hoping these will be the same sort of height as the 20 yo saggy Mtech jobbies that are on there now.

Anywho.

Will this sort of drop exacerbate the uneven tyre wear on the back?

Would a set of adjustable camber tabs on the rear beam with the 5 series eccentrics sort this out? or is there not enough adjustment on lowered springs?

(Also, what shocks should i go for? Opinions?)

Cheers Guys,
Chris

Okey dokey, Bump.

Will the weld on adjustable camber/toe tabs make up for the dodgy tyre wear from a modest drop?

Or are they more hassle than there worth on a standard car?

Cheers

Hi Chris,

e30tech.com have 11 pages of discussion on this !
http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80410 I only looked at page one so don't shot me if the other pages are rubbish!

also http://www.e30performance.info/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=793

I've got a set of 8k miles old bilstein shocks and -25mm eibach springs complete front legs minus brakes and rear set up for sale - I'm in Harwich if you want to have a look at them? Legs have new bearings, top mount, dust shields etc.

Regards
Steven

Cheers for the info, makes for a good read.

I think i've been through those threads before, but never paid attention to the nembers before.

Sound like you've done what i'm planning.

How much you looking for for the front legs, & rear springs and shocks?
