A good turn out at The Wheel today, nice to see some new faces and E30s there. This coincided with the RearWheelDrive meet, so it was good to see some other "enthusiasts " out and about as well.

gutted i had to drop out of this meet, the orange MKII escort estate was built by my mate, he also built a pick up in the same colours and stripes except on the pick up it says "MEX-UP" instead of MEXICO

he sold both of them a while back

seen the estate a few times but never seen the pickup. the yellow 1600 sport is my brothers. hes about to start rebuilding a rs2000 soon to add to his collection

Yeah, good to see you too Mike, sorry I didn't really get a chance to chat, as there was so many cars to drool over. I recognised your touring, and realised it was one I nearly bought!
I know what you mean about the "pink", as I've recently sold one. I had to machine polish it about every 3 weeks just to keep on top of it :cry:
