I think the rabbits may be getting there own back on me, the other day I got two of the bastards at the same time in my work van and felt the need to shout ”aDouble Kill”a right afterwards.

Today on the way back from the girlfriend s in my E30 the biggest rabbit I have ever seen runs and stops in the road I hit it and hear a very nasty sound.

I pull over just down the road to find a rabbit shaped dent in my front valance and my IS lip spoiler missing.

Off I trot down the road to find my IS lip sitting in a pile of rabbit guts and one of the corners snapped off, luckily its a clean break and my mate who works in a body shop will be able to repair the splitter for me. Already sorted the front valance it just pulled right out and looks as good as new.

These IS splitters take a right beating I’ve run over mine three times now after knocking it off and this is the first time it has actually broken but it will live to fight another day once my mate has done a bit of cosmetic surgery on it.

Karmas a bitch

Double kill :D

At least it is fixable and nobody was harmed..... (kind of)

:D
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Yep all good fun, i was quite surprised that it had managed to dent the front valance but i was fully expecting my IS lip to have come off, you just need to hit a bumble bee to loose the bastard, think i'm gonna screw it on next time the BMW clips seem far to weak

My mate hit two cats while they were engaged in a bit of feline fighting. Made a mess of his Astra, but it did break up the fight. Every cloud :P

Yours was a bit more dukes of hazard than mine, the rabbit I hit was a tad smaller than that one but only marginally lol

Yeah I'll be at Ashby again, I’m going to make it a regular thing, really impressed with it tbh.
Aall being well with my lip back on and a new suspension set up sitting about 25mm lower winkeye

i'd feel a bit bad about hitting some cats tbh but rabbits are fair game if there just gonna run out in the road and stand still while your coming towards them at 60+ mph down a county lane

I remember having to fish a half dead pigeon out of the front of my Astra GTE once, thing was wedged in near the radiator getting cooked alive had to bash it to death to put it out of its misery before recovering the remains

Try hitting a deer in a Pug 205 CTI, that was not fun. Deer survived, front car did not...

Im not much of an animal lover TBH, they are more of a nuisance to me. I mowed a cat not so long ago, unfortunately it was infront of a few pedestrians so I felt obliged to stop, luckily they were normal folk and the bloke slung it over the hedge just as I was getting out of the car :)

My brother hit a adult sheep at 60mph not so long ago on a b road, completely wrote his e36 touring off in the process, piles of green sh@t and guts every where 8O, he called at a near by house to see who owned it and was told that it belonged to a pykie who lived on a near By site and that he had seen the kids riding on it, and then said thanks because it comes and eats all his veg off his garden! Needless to say no one owned up at the site eigher

country roads plus rabbits plus a banzai dawn run to work for a 6am start is the reason i went for a fibreglass sport evo splitter and not an expensive carbonfibre one! it's only a matter of time before it chops one of the big eared buggers in half :D
cheers,

I took my iS lip off on the kerb outside my mates house earlier, fortunately no animal casualties, was quite funny actually.

Worst time was when (just after I got the car) I managed to remove the iS lip on a hump back bridge, I'd just fitted the Eibachs, and its fair to say getting all four wheels off the ground definately "settled" the suspension 8O

I had to go back and pick up the spoiler :P

Last rabbit I hit caused my front wheel to lock and sent me off into a tree. Rabbit was about 11ft long by the time i'd finished with it. Car was totalled. Had to cut one wheel with the shock still attached out of a fence 20ft away.

Problem I'm having at the moment is with horse crap. Why is it ok for poncy horse riders to leave giant mountains of crap in the centre of the road  . Theres no avoiding it so ended up spreading down the road with my splitter like a butter knife.

Had to power hose a fox out of the engine bay once, wasn't fun. They seem to be much much bigger once they've been spread an inch thick all over the inside of your engine bay and bonnet.
