anything to replace when changing springs

just ordered the 35mm h+r springs just wantt o know if there is anything that will be worn out and need replacing any help would be great have nt had the springs out before

the springs are sat on rubber pads, top and bottom,
just check they're condition when you get the springs out

if your taking out the suspension, its worth checking the rear top mounting bushes as they re a bit off a weak spot, theyre only about a tenner each from bmw if they are worn.

i bought a set from a main dealer in edinburgh and they were only a couple of quid each more than the price from euro car parts, they lasted longer than the ecp items of which i changed twice in a year,the metal tube kept ripping out the rubber bush, i cant remember the exact price but they were definately less than Ԛ£20 each, the ecp items were about a tenner each.

Fuzzy is absolutely correct in his pricing. I paid about Ԛ£12 each from Eurocarparts.

Front turrent top mount bearings are worth replacing whilst the strut is in bits.

front ARB drop links. they get more of a twist on the bushes as the car is lowered and may fail soon after. they are only about a tenner from gsf (genuine BMW).

if all of the other bushes are ok, go for it. may be worth getting the tracking checked afterwards too.

thanx for that lads just needed to know cause ill probaly have to order the parts over here what the story with changing bushes a stop the camber been so bad or is this only a problem if i lower it a lot

eurocarparts yes but main dealer surely not

i got mine from ecp for that price but like i said when i went to the dealers
they quoted something like Ԛ£60 per side (just the backs)
i think i got all 4 from ecp for less than that

maybe somebody with the ETK can confirm a price
