ive had the cab for a month now and love it. think it needs new tyres so had a hunt around online (blackcircles and kwikfit) and the size tyres i have dont appear..
has my car got random tyres, is there a better fit for the wheels?

205/55/15 is the standard fit tyre for 15's on an E30.
You can go 205/50 but need to be on a bit of a drop otherwise the wheels will look lost in the arches a bit.
On a cab I would keep it on 55's

Camskill change their offers quite often, when I ordered some last week the 205/55's were a few penny's shy of £52... Next day delivery too
I would also usually say to avoid kwikfit, I tried them once for tracking, at MOT time a few weeks later it cost me a track rod end and steering rack gaiter

Avoid kwikfit like the plague, I’ve had several problems with them over the years and even had my car insured with them at one point and they were about as helpful as a hole the head when i had a non fault accident.stonesie wrote:I would also usually say to avoid kwikfit, I tried them once for tracking, at MOT time a few weeks later it cost me a track rod end and steering rack gaiter
Most the blokes who work there only do so because no one else will employ them, bloody washed up failed no skill mechanics, shouldn’t really call them mechanics more like glorified tyre fitters.
