The first one looks like a right money pit, I like the colour combo though, well without the 2 tone paint. What power are they?

The 2nd one is utterly stunning, very nice

Did these have more power than the standard 535i?

would i get alpina lovers and M30 haterz huting me down and killing me if i bought and fragged the rough one just for the engine? :)

out of interest, do you know what modifications were done to reach 254bhp? IIRC, andy335touring had an alpina bottom end with different piston crowns that wouldn't clear the standard head...?

There is another ropey B10 for sale on the bay.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1988-BMW-E34-535I ... 255aa397d4

The spec of the engine was Forged high comp pistons, S38/M88 conrods, worked head with hemi combustion chambers, 268 degree cam, alpina exhaust and remaped ECU.

Fancy thatm Gareth, ImMY, and I have the same thoughts, I think the first one Barry is only worth the engine, and frag the rest.
Is any one bidding on the ropey one? from here.

Yeah agree with Barry that the first one should be saved :)

The 'black' one looks more of a fragger, depends if the engine is okay or not

True, but to me it's only worth the M30 out of it and ECU.

1) I agree ,,, unbeliveble good looking , and cloth seats , i like that ,

2) yes it is a faster car vs oem 535

3) if you want a great E34 buy a M5,, a lot quicker and more agressive drivers car vs B10 3.5

4) If you want to buy the GREATEST E34 ever made ,,, then search for an ALPINA B10 BITURBO,,
that car smokes the M5 so far in the forest that Robin Hood would not even find it,,
hillarius straight line performance,,(( remind the car is launched 1989)) and 180 mph on GPS

A stunning status symbol
