one thing at a time Alex!

just for the record i'm very jealous of all these 'charged m20s that keep springing up everywhere! i'm starting to feel a bit left out

Andy335touring and I were looking at the possibility of a RHD M30 turbo at the midlands meet yesterday, there might be space but it'd be tight and definately need complete custom manifold and downpipes, no getting away with using a 745i or alpina manifold as they LHD only

much respect to whoever built that car though. that must have been a major headache to do all that in one go. i absoluely dread to think what power that could make if it's got low comp pistons etc... in an e30

i think i'm actually scared for the first time!

toby,
i'm sure a man with your skill's and knowledge would be more than capable of completing a conversion like this.
you could be the first on the zone with a charged 335 winkeye winkeye
i was thinking about the room issue and,
the turbo-technics capri's had a turbo on one bank with a link pipe underneath the block from the opposing bank of cylinders, so would it not be possible to mount the turbo somewhere else in the bay other than directly on the end of the manifold?
i was just thinking, that's all  winkeye
