i was just wondering, it says in the manual that you should take the soft top off when you put the hard top on. It's getting to that time where my hard top will come out of hiding and I was wondering if anyone does actually take the soft top off or just stow it. If so, is it hard to do and realign in the spring again??

You don't remove the top you just put it down.

no sorry mate, if you read the manual it says about REMOVING the soft top, as in, un bolting it and removing it, not stowing it in the roof compartment.........as said above

I have had the top off my 318 Cab but would not advise it unless you have 2 people and you really know what you are doing.
You then have the same problem of storage.
The roof is a live set of bagpipes when it is off the car just waiting to trap unsuspecting fingers etc
