Yes it does, but it ain't straight bolt on. Search for M50 and M52 swaps. ;)

Nothing wrong with starting young
Some of the chaps on here joined up when they were your age. If insurance is like it is now in a few years time - good luck getting an e30 with a 2.8 insured! I'm 21 with my 2.8 and insurance companies were refusing to tell me the quote when i was trying to insure it with the 2.5 it had when i was 20!
Make sure you do start a thread when you get one

You won't be able to lower an e30 with an m52 that low, the sump would be in constant contact with the floor

If your going for "Looks" only, then buy one with a 4 pot engine, then lower it to the pic.

If you Got "Haters",Then your doing something Right!

I f*cking hate this slogan, "slow and low" what a load of shite, what you really mean is "my car is shit but if I chop the springs up it will become cool, or at least all the other penniless losers in the same depraved position as me will think so"Banjo1981 wrote:Slow and low every time

Yep. The best ones are the one who say their car handles really well with 100mm springs. Er no, it doesn't. Maybe cruising around the North Circular but get it around Croft and it'll be useless.DanThe wrote:I f*cking hate this slogan, "slow and low" what a load of shite, what you really mean is "my car is shit but if I chop the springs up it will become cool, or at least all the other penniless losers in the same depraved position as me will think so"Banjo1981 wrote:Slow and low every time

Be very careful if you drive a car regularly when you aren't insured as the main driver.
It is illigal and round my way they are getting pretty hot on it.
And unfortunatly, due to your age and the crappy way they quote for these things, you will really struggle to insure a modified E30. A turbo conversion will deffinately need very deep pockets.

Guaranteed they will say no I am afraid. Well, they would say yes as everything has a cost...
Good luck with your project and go out and get a car asap!
