as for getting the badge off, if you lift the bonnet up, you should see the two pins of the badge on the other side, just push them out and the badge should pop off
I will eventually clean it properly, and replace the bonnet insulation foam, bloody thing is falling to bits. :(

I'll give the badge a go tommorrow, thanks. :thumb:

Sounds very much like another chromie carb motor I dove reasantly.

3 large philips head screws and there out no?

Looks clean in the vid mate :thumb:
It lost a little power with the blowing exhaust, so now feels lively again. 8O
It's a nice little lump tbh. :D
I've got a few bits too tidy up under there, which I will get to eventually.

Everytime i see your interior ollie i find myself

Was the remote central locking hard to do? My driver side lock is still jammed, might just use that as an excuse to go for the remote central locking feature..

Looking very retro Ollie

I just love the colour.

Remote locking was a faff, I had to completely clean and re-oil the locking mechanisms. And I still haven't sorted the indicators to flash. It is a fantastic benefit though. :D

Well I've now owned the car around a year, and it's service time. I confused myself with the MOT but that's not until September'ish. :o:

So to the parcel's that arrived in the post..

The BMW box, which includes:
- Rear lights gaskets,
- Air hose,
- Air filter,
- Oil filter,
- Fuel filter,
- OEM underseal in black,
- OEM Sill covering,
- Coolant,
- Exhaust brackets,
- Couple of other little bits and peices.

Image

And slightly less interesting ECP box, which includes:
- Bosch Spark plugs,
- Dizzy cap,
- Rotor arm,
- Oil
- And few others.

Image

Also got some nice bottletop centre's in the post and another non-ergonomic leather gearknob as well. :o:

So all in all a good day, now the fun bit starts.. :woohoo:

Right, busy day today servicing the turd.

Didn't take really any pics of the new stuff, but have a look at the old stuff. Apparently it was serviced just before I got it a year ago.

Your engine bay looks so easy to work on. M20 has not got much room. Trying to get the distributer off.

Sweep, L0L I wish it was mate, :( I wish it was..

Blitz, yep nice and accessable, I did find the 4th plug a touch tricky but I just had to change the socket extension. :chuckle:

Town, I know it's soon, I can't do anything yet as I haven't got the funds, need to sort my tyres first. I will hopefully get them before the following Mids meet. Sorry. :(

Working on my m20 seems much more hard work than a 4 pot, you need to remove everything to do anything :(

Got this today, was grey now beige. Not sure how successful the colour is yet, but its a good match to my floor mat.
