Hi,

Just wanted to clear something up. I've read on here that the 320 and 325 driveshafts are different. I currently have a 320 auto and have got a m20b25 engine and 325 box to go in. Do i just need the front half of a 325 prop (assuming rear halves are all the same). RealOEM has the 320 manual being 36mm longer than the 325...can this be reduced on the splines meaning I can use the front half from either a 325 or 320 manual - although it makes more sense to be able to make the 325 longer and not the other way around.

As I understand it at the moment I need a 325 front prop? And as the cars a pre-facelift I need a pre-facelift center bearing.

Cheers

that's correct. you'll need a front section from a 325i manual with a pre facelift center bearing
