My 325i cabby came with beige carpet mats, the ones diagonal lines. The rubber on the back is disintegrating and making a mess.

Is there any product then will stop this? I've got two sets of these mats and there very rare original BMW ones at 23 years old.

Or should I just buy beige cabby mats from Motormec? But there pretty pricey.

Something similar happened to the original mats in my coupe - due to moisture in the passenger footwell. The backlining was all sandy-like and crumbling away making a proper mess. I binned them and put some OEM BMW rubber mats in there for now. Only cost me £3.50!

Thanks, I'll think I'll just get a new set.
