hi, im new to e30 zone so bare with me
i recently bought an e30 318 and buying an engine from a 325
so was just wondering do all the mounts line up so it just bolts in? or do i have to do some modifications to it?
quick conversion question...

No it all bolts up, no fab work required, you may want to upgrade to 325i springs/legs to cope with the extra weight.

If you are just buying the 325 engine and want to use your existing gearbox, the gearbox won't sit at the correct angle as the 6 pot engines lean over a bit more, so best to fit 325 engine, box, prop & diff.

nah im getting the 325 engine, box and wiring + ecu.
will the 325 box fit the existing 318 prop and would the diff take the power?
i will be upgrading the diff to the 325 but if i can use the 318 diff temporarily

the 318 prop will be too long, don't waste time, get a 325 prop
