Wish my chromie was in that good condition.
I'm on leave from school atm so I'm going to address some peeling underseal under the car, and give it a good service.

You should have a thin layer of material behind the speaker cover so you cant see the speaker through the grill
HU looks great, you wont be going back to oem now
Whats the teddy in the parcel shelf for though
ps: i thought your car would have a three speed fan heater ?

The drivers side has that material, passenger doesn't.
Must have got lost at some point.
Headunit looks good, and sounds great well chuffed.
4 speed, why should it have 3 then?
Welsh dragon is to cover up hole in parcel shelf.

Well 4 speed is better.
The temp control seems to gets a little stuck at the upright position though, when you are turning the control.
I'm ashamed of the central locking as it's aftermarket, but I've got oem parts at the ready if it breaks. Still its a nice luxury having the remote as well.

Nothing on the display but it illuminates and still works. Happened after reconnected battery. Also the aerial cable snapped, so I'll have to open it up and put a new one. Sub is making strange noises sometimes.
To be honest I cant wait till I get the cabby so I can quality audio in it. I'm just trying to tolerate the mooredoor now.

Thanks Dezzy.
I reckon I'm just going to (when funds allow) go for the -40mm look on mint bottletops with a jimmy hill in satin black.
Pondered with BBS for ages, but want too be different and stick with a sort of povo spec look.

I would say it's has to be BBS but it's your car.
Jimmy Hill ftw
I lower mine by 35mm on H&R and it's not low enough IMO. I have bout 15mm lower top hats so that should sort it.
Especially with my new Hartge's

Rav, seen it but doesn't look quite right on a facelift imo.
Rob, yes that is exactly what I want, mintyness like that and with chrome obviously.
Dez, I don't want it too be too low, just more subtle than 4x4.
Whatever you do to your car just makes it better and better.

How do you remove the outer headlamp on the passenger side?

Also how do you remove the bonnet badge without damaging the paint?

Also had the first of many nice delieveries today, so will update again in the next few days.

looks very clean under there, nice engine bay
as for getting the badge off, if you lift the bonnet up, you should see the two pins of the badge on the other side, just push them out and the badge should pop off
