Should I have lead number 2 with a pulse generator on it? This seems to be missing on my cabby (88, 325). The lead is there but I don't think I've got the pulse unit

You should have lead #6 with it on, although if the build date of your car is a fair bit earlier than the reg. date, it may not be needed.

Is lead #6 at the windscreen end or radiator end? The build date is Jan/Feb 1988 - would I need it?

Cyl 1 is at the pulley end of the engine on all engines except French wrongness.
