I'm currently stripping down an M20 325i.

I noticed the feed to or from the fuel injection rail runs up through the middle of the inlet manifold branches and then toward the windscreen. It then makes a very sharp 90 deg turn onto the rail is this right?

Reason I ask is when I managed to remove it from the rail where it makes the 90 degree turn, it had perished and could have leaked direct onto the block causing a major fire...

Anyone else seen this at all?

Mine was the same the feed going through the inlet if you get a later one the feed is near the return so it is much better.
