Well that's what the 3 screws are for, to adjust between driving here and on the continent, the smoked hellas are basically brand new E30 lights modified with some inserts...
mine are fine anyway!

i dont mind chopping things and doing any fidly work as i'm an engineer and i could do most of it at work without much of a problem. i was just wondering as i don't have the time to do too much at the mo with college...if it was a long project then i would wait unitll the summer or something

Simon, 260 is ok, that total bmw thing said 500-800!!

simon 13, are the zone conversions in just the headlights or in the main beams aswell

That was in 2002!!

Don't forget there may be issues with MOT fitting HID's as to fit HID's the car must also be fitted with headlamp wash wipe and auto headlamp levelling.

headlamp wash wipe works on both but the adjusters dont anymore

The motor on the N/S headlamp is brand new, I gave up after hours of work...

smoked hellas three years ago i have no idea how much they were but m8 paid 200 for them as they were for someone else that never had them fitted to his car. Promotive in rogerstone got them. The guy who originaly bought them pissed them about for months so i think they made on them twice

here a pic crap quality but i only had a shity kodak webcam thing in them days.

see what i mean? how can you change the beam cut out? you'll find the bosch RHD ones angle the other way

They used to be readily available from GSF for Ԛ£195 + vat.

Nooo headlamp wash wipe motor....the headlamp aim is a total waste of time, never bothered with it as it's such a useless system, and do you really need it? That's why I never bothered.

not sure if theangel eyes would look good on the touring in diamand black.

No..that's why I said they 'used' to be readily available, they stopped supplying them because of lack of interest.

what i mean is see the beam line, the angle it angles up \_____ \____is opposite on RHD bosch jobbies?! _____/ ______/ . Please say u can see what i mean. Yes your right the 3 screws are for adjustment. I referring to the cut out inside the actual light

simon, when you were talking about giving up after hours of work i wasn't sure wherther you were on about the wash wipe or the adjuster motor when you said it was brand new

When I fitted mine the beam kicked up and aimed to the right... ___/ ___/ like that....I un-did the screws and converted them to RHD, and now they kick to the left \___ \___ just like yours in the pic! I can't see what else is wrong!?

to the left is correct for the uk because if it was to the right then you would dazzel on comming trafic

I have a friendly MOT tester as pacerpete will testify! mine are fine anyway. Demlot done them, and is his work ever less than 110%? i don't think so!

theres a lad i know over this way, his names ben from chromeline designs, he is top man when it comes to lights etc & ive got the sexiest ccfl angel eyes for my compact... he can do them for the e30 to and he also does hid kits etc, give him a ring on 07979506043,
tell him chris off the zone gave you the number..

si, how do the german plate surrinds fit on the rear??? do they just use the existing holes or what?
