That's very nice! I'd be putting a tech 1 steering wheel on and making the boot spoiler black if it were me

Nice tidy blue leather with original floor mats. Looks very tidy and original.
The steering wheel is right for the year and colour coded spoiler and mirrors were an option.

Would it be right to have it on a 1987 one?

Im 99% sure that the tech 2 steering wheel came out in '89.
'88 tech 2 325i sports still used the tech 1 steering wheel.

Saw your car in another thread and thought I recognised it. Looked at this car quite a while ago (september 2009) and was very very tempted. Really wanted a facelift so held out for one but it was a lovely looking car - well looked after and low mileage.
It seemed pristine from what I recollect apart from some very minor things (centre cap badges and gas strut on the horseshoe was about it) - hopefully my brief assessment was correct!
Glad it went to someone that's enjoying it.
Here's some snaps I took at the time.

looks nice and clean
all 3 e30s ive bought have been grubby inside etc and needed a bloody good all round clean- personly would rather that than it being spotless when you buy it (price depening etc) as when you get your new car home, spend a day or 2 giving it a thourough cleaning inside and out and it all comes up nice- its a good satisfying feeling and is the 1st step in making it "yours"

Thanks mate, the pics are over a year old now and the only thing I've done is carried on from them IE OEM all the way and got really up to scratch, other than needing to get to get a new rear window where I forgot to put a fold in it when I lowered then roof
