For one reason and another (long story), I've got to totally strip & rebuild my M50 engine before I fit it into the Cab.
The block itself is in a very rusty state externally and, rather than just do a half-assed job, I'm looking to get it cleaned & repainted.
Now I've got the painting side of it sussed, but does anyone know:
a/ Can the block be chemically cleaned rather than shot-blasted?
b/ Is it any better than shot-blasting?
c/ What sort of Companies would I look for (what would they advertise themselves as) & about how much would it cost?
