Seems like a strange pair of cars to compare, I wonder how long those Maseratis lasted before breaking down winkeye

At the end "Not an enthusiast's car"...

How times have changed. The E30 is up there in the cult classics.

Americans are weird.. testing an ETA vs a turbo

I wonder how that review would have read if they'd had a 325i which would probably have outrun the Maser!

I had a masser, really liked it to drive when it was sweet (once i think) stock horse power was only about 160 but a bit of twiddling and 200BHP and they weigh about 100kg lighter than a e30, and they can handle very well, suspension is very close to the e30 in set up, but the rear has camber adjustment as stock.

Still think about a track version, but you would have to rewire it, get bespoke coilovers and brakes. Then the engine parts make s14's look cheap and they need twice the maintainance.

When the artical was written I guess e30 and bi turbos were top end euro cars in he eyes of the US with similar power and handling style.

The Biturbo's are a lovely looking car, but I just couldn't sit inside one. :puke:
