Andrew.

Not much , the E30 Coupe has those seatbelt rails , I had to remove the rails and fabricate new mountings for them, the rest required a good drill and some new bolts. Closed the old holes with some plates and thats it. The rear seat is a stock E30 item , just recoverd.

Hey Gio .......I would tell you but thats where my car parks, so lets just say Jhb ....Well I always send arts from here for other people so am happy to do some collecting and shipping for you.

What a nice car,,

tell me , do you have any info or idea about the engine output..

the 5 lug ?? is that from an E30 M3

Do you see the great S-A 333i around there,
That was a hell of a car in the old days

oops, missed this post.

Engine output. 250kw - 460nm Torque

5 lug is not from M3 entirely , it's actually M3 bearings and hubs with a sleeve inserted to slide onto the stock 325 spigots. The discs and bells were custom made so thats what makes them 5 lug, in the back I have adaptors fitted inside the disc to convert it from 4 to 5. Complicated but it works.

I did , I was supposed to buy a 333i but decided not to , they great cars , but expensive to keep in pristine condition.

So guys an update, wheels are sold, and I called image , they need me to supply the hubs fr the center lock , I have no way of doing this so there goes the idea of that perticular wheel, now thinking a nice set of BBS RS or RC but has to be 17in.

So it's been a while since I added some much needed pictures and an update.

WHat has happened since I last took pics and stuff.

I am now single (more time to play with the E30 I say)

The car went in for some cosmetic work which turned out to be a nightmare.

9 Months at the panelbeaters is no joke. Work that was scheduled

1. Respray the car
2. Widen the rear fenders
3. Make everything nice and straight.

Here are some pics along the way.

Before she went off

Image

Then the Fenders
Not the usuall lets roll the hell out of them , we went and tacked on wider fenders from another car

Image

Then some pics of the front being fitted back

The obkect was for the car to look stock , if you stood next to it you would go , something is different , but I am not sure what exactly.

The rear fenders are now an inch wider then stock and retain the stock lines

Then she stood like this for 3 months

Finally got her home and I was not impressed

Image

No windscreen, no rubbers fitted clips missing and the state of the car was terrible

So my work started

Some of the work I did over the next 4 months (sorry took no pics)

Removed Dash board , carpet and pretty much everything that could come loose

Gave it all a nice clean , then started on the cabling, removed the old spagetti harness from the car including the old aftermarket alarm system and most of the wiring that was added over the years.

Also replaced the wiper stalk and all the globes

Then wrapped all the harnesses in fabric tape and passed it back through the now clean dashboard.

I also re-wired the engine bay to a degree , used some nifty sleeving and changed the positive cable to the fuse box , because I am going with a dual battery setup in the rear my many years of Audio fitment came in handdy when I wired up new cables to the alternator and the starter as the Isolator in place would allow for dual charging.

This is a pic of some of the wire work

Shaheen, your car looks mad.

Btw, when rewiring & while the seats were out, did you scratch at all with improved sound deadening?

I did, the car is now lined with Dynapad on the floors and silent coat scattered around the car.

the boot floor was also stripped clean and new silent coat put in.

all in all I would say about 35kg's of deadner with about 2 rolls of closed cell foam in total.

the one thing that is getting to me , I did the suspension shortly after (B8's and H&R) and she seems to be sitting a far whack higher.

I am hoping she settles.

This is when I had to roll her back from some idiot who said he could finish the car but instead decided to take her for a joy ride.

Those are called Rezax 2's right? Always loved that wheel.

I have a set of Rezax 1's currently, tho not fitted to my car

I guess if you have enough power then 35kg's extra is nothing :D

Those are Rezax II indeed.

I miss the Lenso Schnitzer reps too. they looked so much bigger on the car .

The look I was after is the same as the guy from Felgen Garage , he has a black Tech II with the Rezax II .

One day when I am big I hope to have a straight looking car.

Oh and for the weight , when you going to slow cause of weight, you just turn up the boost/
