Looking good. Why has it got a 318i badge though, being a carb'd 316?

BTW have you got any pics of your other chromie on the GSF springs with 14" wheels?

Ok cheers, I keep coming back to get a look it this car to see if there is any more pics up, I think it looks stunning. I've a 316 with the same convertion which the old fella I bought it from told me BMW charged £900 to do. The filter looks great, really tidys up the engine bay compared to the big frying pan, where did you get it?

Mine is fairly scruffy with patchy paint but a good shell and interior and only 2 owners. I bought it for the engine but when I got it home realised it was too good to break so it got a set of 16" Hartge, lowered 40mm and an early 4 spoke Alpina wheel and it's now my daily driver.

well today i had nothing better to do. So decided to start painting the rear spoiler up, spent ages trying to get the rubber section off but the bolts are well rusted on there and didnt want to break anything, plus it looks like some 1 has stuck the two bits togeather in the past
also a few more pics, enjoy :D

Loverly car there indeed. I always find it odd looking at the single pipe exhuasts on the 316 and 318i's but other than that it looks as close to perfect as you could want. I started off with a D reg m10 318i back in 2002 and I still rate it as one of the best and most fun cars I had ever owned!
