Crikey

Started last week on my is to get it ready for summer, do some tidying ive been waiting for the weather to do...

all 4 arches/inner arches- removed all the plastic lining, cleaned, fertan, underseal with waxoil, and also replaced all the screws and nylon nuts for plastic trimm with brand new ones (from bmw) , and hammerite parts by suspension etc...took me about 5 days to do it all properly, but now is done and looking good :D

oil change/filter
all fluids
spark plugs
new set of 15"bbs-and mine to be refurbed
new break pads all round
a new break pad sensor
new gear knob emblem
new pedal rubbers
cple of bits of trimm
new bmw wheel cap center stickers
new bmw valve caps
all the materials needed and various little bits
about £100 in labour costs aswell

ive also  done a little job im very happy with, got a 2 button fog lamp switch, put that in the dash in one of the spare holes, and wired that to the stereo remote lead of the head unit, for the electric ariel and sub, so can turn them on/off at the click of a button, -saves the ariel always comming up everytime i start the car and having to always drive with it up when not listening to the radio, quite nice having an electric ariel at the flick of a button :D

got a brand new windscreen being fitted on monday

got a brand new bosal exhaust being fitted this afternoon, and a brand new bmw black sleeve trimm bit to fit over the end ready to go on it

got a dent man comming tomorrow to sort a cple of little dents

and the car should be looking real good next week, it drove nice anyway, but now its very very qyuet and smooth and is a pleasure to drive 8) ...its been a £££££ week, but..

I LOVE MY E30 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its quality mate, been thinking of it for ages, got a fog light switch of adit, and it fits in a treat, just needed 4 bits of wire and a couple of connectors for the wires, best of all ive not needed to cut any wires or mess with anything on the car and its an original bmw switch in the hole thats already therel, just push the dummy plate out and the 2 buttons look good there alongside the hazzard and rear demister buttons, and best of all its brilliant having a push button electric ariel :D

Europe....Yeah, that's on my agenda for this summer. I'm meeting Relatives in Amsterdam. Only just realised....it's only 162 miles from Calais. Bonus!! No overnight ferry costing £450, can just get on the Dover-Calais for £65 and drive up.

another long arvo/eve , got exhaust fitted and put the sleeve on, sorted spare set of wheels and balanced them, then put them on and gave the car a good hoover clean and demon shine, and came in just after it was dark, had some dinner and a shower, and soon gonna go for a nice drive, had to take it real easy latley coz of the rear tyres right on the limit or past it 8O , now the cars all running perfect, new exhaust and good tyres, cant wait for a boost, never done a top end test...tonight could be the night

heres some pics as requested, was thinking to myself earlier that all this money time n work ive done all week, and the car is looking same as it was more or less, but under and it drives is where the difference is....

new exhaust minus the sleeve...

the ariel/subwoofer switches, i really love this, very handy to be able to keep ariel down, or just move it up n down to be flash haha, and its handy to be able to turn the sub off at puch of a button, when people in the back or just want volume but not too much bass

Image

also got a tech 2 wheel im currently mulling over purchasing ?

one of these pioneer bluetooth babies, got an ipod in thre glove box, bluetooth remote control, 4x 70rms speakers i fitted a few weeks ago, and a 10" sub box in the back, not stupid loud or big, just fills the bass out giving a real nice sound and 60gb of music at the press of a button

also the lights on it are all amber giving a matching and old scool look at night, doesnt quite show in the pics due to the flash, can also be changed any colour, its a quality stereo, just need to get a decent plastic trimm bit around it that fits the e30 100%

one on the bay mate you might be able to get for cheap if you could collect and check, due to his low feedback, highly recomended head unit i love it
