has any one had the zone bbtb???

I shall be ordering one once the car is on the road. I want to be able to do a before and after comparison when its running. It will have a custom exhaust and probably a cold air feed as there's not much room under the bonnet for the stock E30 air box. I will also get a chip just round things off nicely.
...two points:
1. ItÔš'll feel at first like the car is more responsive, because for a given throttle opening, youÔš're actually letting more air in. As your brain re-learns how to match welly to required response, this will of course disappear, as you learn to open the throttle slightly less than you used to.
2. Which leads us to the only time when it will really make any difference, ie when the throttle is fully open, when you've got a bigger aperture than what you would have had previously, so more air = theoretically greater maximum power.
I say Ԛ“theoreticallyԚâ€a because the amount of air going in is limited by whatever the smallest aperture in the induction tract is, which I would have thought was the AFM Ԛ—a but IÔš've asked the question on here many times, and no-one seems to knowԚ…
I have no complaints about mine though Ԛ—a I like to think it sits there doing its bit.

Silly question - but are the M20 2.0 and 2.5 throttle bodies the same?
In other words for an M20 2.0, is the correct route to go:
A] just swap for 2.5 throttle body?
b] Have a 2.0 BBTB
or C] have a 2.5 BBTB (too much air getting in???)
Just once I get this idle prob sorted, could be v interested in chip / BBTB approach...

No dude they have different trottle bodies. a mod for a 320 is to put on a 325 trottle body. so i think a BBTB would go onto the 320 no prob, might need to modify it a little , but no big issue.AlpineCab wrote:Silly question - but are the M20 2.0 and 2.5 throttle bodies the same?
