Hi all
im currently in the process of building a track car and im unsure on what i should go for suspension wise.
i have converted from 4 to 5 stud from a E36 so this is where im unsure.
im looking into E30 Gaz all in one coilovers so i can have the adjustable top mounts but could i put a E36 hub on the E30 spinal?
and secondly im shoe horning a M62 engine in so what sort of spring rate would i be looking for roughly?

sorry for the questions im new to the setup part

thanks
ben

no, an e36 hub doesnt work on the e30 leg.

surely it'd be easier getting some e36 front coilovers to bolt to the e36 front hub carrier etc?
cheers,

harry

Hi

Just replied on the other thread

We can do you an E36 front with an E30 adjustable topmount, with E30 rears

If you email us the full spec or give us a call we can talk you through a suitable solution

Kind Regards

You can fit an e36 hub onto an e30 spindle... BUT (there is always a but). It's not a bolt on procedure. You have to make spacers and new shafts etc etc.

I have done this on my road e30 and it's fine, but on our S54 powered race car we are running E36 front struts with tubular arms (using E36 M3 kingpins, camber/caster plates and modified rear control arm pick up it's also possible to get decent settings).
